伊索寓言：El águila y el escarabajo

Estaba una liebre siendo perseguida por un águila, y viéndose perdida pidió ayuda a un escarabajo, suplicándole que le salvara.
Le pidió el escarabajo al águila que perdonara a su amiga. Pero el águila, despreciando la insignificancia del escarabajo, devoró a la liebre en su presencia.

Desde entonces, buscando vengarse, el escarabajo observaba los lugares donde el águila ponía sus huevos, y haciéndolos rodar, los tiraba a tierra. Viéndose el águila echada del lugar a donde quiera que fuera, recurrió a Zeus pidiéndole un lugar seguro para depositar sus futuros pequeñuelos.

Le ofreció Zeus colocarlos en su regazo, pero el escarabajo, viendo la táctica escapatoria, hizo una bolita de barro, voló y la dejó caer sobre el regazo de Zeus. Se levantó entonces Zeus para sacudirse aquella suciedad, y tiró por tierra los huevos sin darse cuenta. Por eso desde entonces, las águilas no ponen huevos en la época en que salen a volar los escarabajos.
Nunca desprecies lo que parece insignificante, pues no hay ser tan débil que no pueda alcanzarte.

As he was being chased by an eagle, the hare ran to the dung beetle, begging the beetle to save him. The beetle implored the eagle to respect the hare's asylum. But the eagle disrespecting the beatle because of his size, grabbed the hare, tearing him to pieces and devouring him.

The beetle then was searching for revenge, he watched the places where the Eagle put his eggs and by rolling them out of the nest he smashed them.
When the Eagle saw him driven away from the place wherever it was, he turned to Zeus asking for a secure place where he could place his future young.

Zeus offered his lap to the Eagle, but the beetle seeing the tactics made little balls of dirt and threw them into Zeus' lap. Zeus rose to get rid of the dirt and did not notice that the eggs of the Eagles were thrown to earth once again. This is the reason that, since then, the Eagles do not lay eggs at times when the Beatles fly.

Never disregard the ones, who seem insignificant, there is nothing so week that it could not overtake you.
